3,300 megawatt-hours of clean energy generated in Year 1

1,400 metric tons of carbon emissions avoided in Year 1

Save on electricity bills through a solar lease
Through a solar lease with Yellow Door Energy, United Foods reduces its electricity costs and switches to clean energy, all without any upfront investment.
The 2,000 kilowatt-peak rooftop solar plant is fully operational and generates 3.3 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy in its first year of operation, equivalent to reducing 1,400 tonnes of carbon emissions. Over 4,400 solar panels have been installed to cover the rooftop of the factory in Jebel Ali Industrial Area.
This solar project is in line with the UAE Energy Strategy 2050 and contributes to the UAE's Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative.
